Responsible for strategic sales growth through direct sales efforts.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Prospect aggressively to develop new business through networking and cold calling including follow up to obtain appointments.
- Carrying a sales quota while coordinating and executing sales presentations to inform, persuade, educate and ultimately close business.
- Learn develop and implement new ways to differentiate Comtel.
DESIRED MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
The ideal candidate must be self-motivated with a proven track record in telecom / technology sales. Must be comfortable in a dynamic atmosphere of a technical organization with expanding and diversified technology.
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s Degree required
- 4+ years relevent experience in sales exceeding assigned sales quota
- Experience in VoIP, data networking, or cloud hosted sales preferred.
- Knowledge and track record of developed prior success selling IT services or telecommunications.
- A successful applicant will need to be able to juggle a variety of complicated tasks.
- Possess strong presentation skills to be able to communicate professionally both verbally and in writing correspondence.
- Organized and analytical, able to eliminate sales obstacles through creative and adaptive approaches.
- Candidate must be professional and able to effectively communicate complex technology in person, on the phone, and via e-mail.
